1 classification by use

2. Classification by driving mode.

2.2 dc elevator, using dc motor as the driving force. The rated speed of such elevators is generally above 2.00m/s.

3. Classification by speed
There is no strict speed classification of elevators, and our country is accustomed to classification by the following methods.
3.1 low-speed ladder, usually refers to an elevator that is lower than 1.00m/s.
3.2 medium speed ladder, usually refers to the speed between 1.00 ~ 2.00m/s.
3.3 high-speed ladder, usually refers to the elevator with a speed greater than 2.00m/s.
3.4 ultra-high speed, speed over 5.00m/s elevators.
With the continuous development of elevator technology, the elevator speed is higher and higher, and the speed limit of the difference between high, medium and low speed elevators is also increased.
According to the elevator, there is no driver classification.
4.1 there is a driver's elevator, which is operated by a full-time driver.
4.2 there is no driver's elevator, the passenger enters the elevator car, press the floor button that needs to go on the control panel, the elevator automatically runs to the destination floor, which has the function of collecting and selecting.
4.3 there is/no driver's elevator. This kind of elevator can change the control circuit, which is usually operated by passengers. If the passenger flow is large or necessary, it will be operated by the driver.
5. Classification by manipulation control.
5.1 handle switch control, the elevator driver controls the handle switch in the cage to realize the starting, ascending, descending, flat and stop operation of the elevator.
5.2 button control elevator: it is a simple automatic control elevator, which has automatic level function. It is common to control two kinds of control modes, including external button control and inner button control.
5.3 signal control elevator, which is an automatic control degree with a driver's elevator. In addition to automatic leveling, automatic door opening function, there are cage command registration, floor call registration, automatic stop, stop and automatic reversing.
5.4 collection control elevator is a fully automatic control elevator developed on the basis of signal control. The main difference between signal control and signal control is that it can be operated without driver.

6. Other classification methods.
